LADIES RETREAT—WONDERFUL BLESSING!

What a blessed day we had in the services Sunday! The attendance was good and the offerings in both the General Fund and Faith Promise Missions were great. I preached a message entitled, “Satan Never Stops Opposing God’s Program” from Job chapter one. Our Ladies did a “Ladies Retreat Echoes” in the Evening Service. We had 20 ladies attended and they gave testimonies and shared the highlights of the retreat. It was a wonderful service! I closed the service with a message entitled, “God Uses Woman.” Thank You to all the ladies who were able to attend. I want to thank my wife Neva and Marva Watson for organizing our ladies for the retreat.

It is hard to believe the summer is over and the 46th Annual Mission Conference is over. Here we are already in the Month of October. Before we know it, year 2017 will be history. Please mark your calendar of all the events the rest of the year and into the New Year.

The “Annual City-Wide Carnival” will be on Saturday, October 28, 2017. This event takes a lot of work and needs several folks to help. Bro. James Smith will be heading up the carnival, so please check with him to see what you can do to help. We will need folks to sign-up to bring homemade chili or stew. This is a real opportunity to be a blessing to our community and for folks to get acquainted with Fundamental Baptist Church.

We are back studying “The Parables” in the Adult Sunday School Class. This Sunday will study “The Parable of The Good Samaritan.” Don’t miss these Bible Studies!
