| Shawn Drewett in Concert Nov. 5, 2017 @ 6:30pm  The Lord gave us another wonderful day in His House on the Lord’s Day! The attendance could have been better but not too bad, since so many were out of town and others were sick. The offerings were good in both the General Fund and Faith Promise Missions. We still missed our Faith Promise Mission Goal. Folks who made a “Faith Promise” need to honor that promise to the Lord! Our Mission Program depends on your faithfulness. I preached a message entitled, “Don’t Stop Singing” in the Morning Service. We showed more pictures of the Holy Land Tour in the Evening Service. I finished all the pictures through Day Four with us at the Dead Sea. Day Five will start out by visiting “Masada.” The Lord blessed with a teenager following the Lord in Baptism. Please pray for Chelby Young as she grows in the Lord. Another teenager came for Salvation and Baptism who trusted Christ at the Youth Camp Meeting. Please pray for Wally Davila. Also, Jimmy Lee McElhaney, Becca, Kaitlin, Kailee and Karson joined the church by letter. We welcome them back home! God is so GOOD!
The Annual City-Wide Carnival was a great success! Thanks to Bro. James Smith and to ALL who helped in putting on this event. Thanks to everyone who helped in working, bringing candy, making bake goods, chili etc. There is no way of knowing exactly how many attended, but I can say there were at least 350 or more people participated in the Carnival. We gave a brochure to every guest with information about the church and the plan of Salvation. Please pray this will be an outreach to those who attended the Carnival. THANKS again for making it possible!
Shawn Drewett will be in Concert this Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 6:30pm. Bro. Shawn is no stranger to Fundamental Baptist Church. Bro. Shawn started singing with his parents when he was a child and the Lord is still using him in the Music Ministry. Don’t miss this special service as Bro. Shawn presents the Gospel in song!
