The Lord gave us a good day in His House Sunday. The attendance could have been better, but the offerings in both the General Fund and Faith Promise Missions were good. I preached a message entitled, “The Reason for Christ’s Birth” in the Morning Service. With Sunday Morning’s messages as a back drop, I preached a message entitled, “A Colossian Christmas” in the Evening Service (Colossians 1:14-23). The best part of the day was Kyle Cearnal surrendering his live for full-time service. We were all excited about this decision, but I know Satan was not! Please pray for God’s will for Kyle!

Here’s an update on our participation in “The Ennis Christmas Parade” last Thursday Evening. We had 54 participate in the parade. Many rode the bus singing Carols and several walked behind the bus passing out packets. The packets included a candy cane, Gospel tracks and information about our church. We put together 2,000 of these packets and ran out about half way into the parade. Pray these packets will reach people for the Lord. Thank you to all who made it possible!

The Children’s Program entitled, “The Colors of Christmas” will be on December 17th at 6:30pm. The Choir will present the Christmas Musical entitled, “Mary Did You Know” on December 24th in the Morning Service. We will have a Special Christmas Eve Service on December 24th at 6:30pm. Plan to attend all the services and bring someone with you.
