“Tracy Dartt Family” March 11, 2018 S.S. &AM Sunday was the first in a while that the sun was shining, but there are still a lot of folks out because of sickness. Pray everyone will get well! I preached a message entitle, “To Die is Gain” in the Morning Service. “For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21) Some things we gain:(1) A Better Body, (2) A Better Home, (3) A Better Inheritance and (4) A Better Relationship. In the Evening Service I preached a message entitled, “Eschew Evil.” “Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.” (I Peter 3:11) “Eschew” means to avoid or shun. We are living in evil times and God’s Children are to have no part in evil, but to “do good” and “seek peace, and ensue it.”
By the time you get this Newsletter, My wife and I will be headed down to Brownwood for a Pastors Fellowship Meeting. We are going to attend the church services, spend the night and attend the meeting the next day. I have ask, Bro. Waymond James to fill the pulpit for our Wednesday Evening Service. Be sure to be in your place and pray for us to have a safe trip. I will see you on Sunday.
We are honored to have “The Tracy Dartt Family” singing for us in the Sunday School and Morning Service on March 11, 2018. Bro. Dartt wrote the songs “God on the Mountain”, “God’s Been Good to Me” and many, many more gospel songs. They travel all over the USA and abroad with around 200 concerts a year. They have a brand new album, “Get Up And Get Your Shoes On.” Folks, he is known as a “Gospel song writing legend.” This is their final tour and I am so glad we are going to have them at Fundamental Baptist Church. You can go on-line www.dartmusic.com and read more about their ministry. I had to book Darts over a year ago and the only date he had open was March 11th in the Morning Service. I took that date because I know they will be a blessing to YOU. Be sure to be present and invite someone to attend with you.
I am doing a series of messages on “The Seven Beatitudes of Revelation” on Wednesday Evenings. We have five to go in the series. Also, I started a series in the Adult Sunday School Class on “Forgiveness.” Don’t miss the studies!
Please don’t forget to pray for all those on our “Church Prayer List.” We still have many of our folks who are going through some serious health problems. Neva and I love you very much and hope to see you in the services.
Your Pastor, Bro. Gary
