It thrilled my heart to see the Lord’s House filled on Easter Sunday with over 250 present in the Morning Service. Most everyone were members with a few visitors present. My heart was so blessed. The Choir presented an Easter Musical entitled, “The King is Coming.” I am so thankful for our Choir and the great job they do in providing music every Sunday. The musicals for Christmas and Easter are such a blessing. Thank You Choir for your faithfulness and hard work! I closed out the service with a brief message, “The King of Kings and Lord of Lord” and used the same theme for the Evening Service message. “I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword , that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture on his thigh a name written KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” (Revelation 19:11-16.) THE KING IS COMING! Are you Ready?
I am doing a series of messages on “The Seven Beatitudes of Revelation” on Wednesday Evenings. The Seventh of the series is Wednesday Evening. If you missed these messages, check them out on our Web-site. “Click here to listen to recent sermons.” The messages go back to January of this year and by date.
The church will be observing “The Lord’s Supper” on April 15, 2018 in the Evening Service at 6:30pm. This is a special service for the members of Fundamental Baptist Church. I will be preaching a special message in the Morning Service about the meaning and observance of “The Lord’s Table.” All members should be prepared spiritually and scripturally before partaking.
Please don’t forget to pray for all those on our “Church Prayer List.” Neva and I love you very much and hope to see you in all the services.
Your Pastor, Bro. Gary
