Mother's Day May 13, 2018 What a wonderful day we had in the Lord's House on the Lord's Day. Song Writer put it this way, "There's a sweet, sweet spirit in this place..."The attendance could have been much better but those who were present met with the Lord! I preached a message entitled, "The Lord, The Devil and The Believer" in the Morning Service. "And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou are converted, strengthen thy brethren." (Luke 22:31, 32) Bro. James Smith preached in the Evening Service. The message was entitled, "Preparation for a Life of Service!""I BESEECH you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (Roman 12:1, 2) Our next special day is Mother's Day on May 13, 2018 AM. We will be recognizing ALL Mothers present. We will recognize the Youngest Mother, Oldest Mother and Mother with the Most Children. Every mother will receive a gift from the church. It is a beautiful "Polestar LED Key Chain." It is personalized with bold, lazar engraving on satin sapphire finished aluminum with our church information. The split ring key chain has a unique light bar which comes on and off by pressing it. The gift is not an expensive one, but something practical. I hope every time you use it, you will remember that Fundamental Baptist Church loves you. Let's make Mother's Day another special day! Missionary Linda Fitzgerald will be with us May 20, 2018 in the Evening Service. Linda will be giving the church a report of the work in Germany. We have been supporting Linda for many years and I am excited about hearing and seeing what God is doing there in Germany. Don't miss this special service! Please don't forget to pray for all those on our "Church Prayer List." Neva is improving every day in rehab. Thank you for your visits, cards, phone calls, emails and most of all your prayers. Neva goes to her surgeon on Thursday. If the Doctor releases her, she should be able to come home on Saturday. Neva and I love you very much. Your Pastor, Bro. Gary
