47th Annual Faith Promise Mission Conference
September Month

We had a good attendance even with the rain pouring down Sunday Morning. The Lord blessed us with returning visitors and two new families visiting our church. I preached a message entitled, “When I See the Blood” in the Morning Service. “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.” (Exodus 12:13) “...it is the LORD’S passover” (Exodus 12:11) The last of the ten plagues God sent upon Egypt was death of the first born. It was a type and foreshadow of our Lord Jesus Christ who is “the Lamb of God.” The blood MUST be applied! “Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us.” (I Corinthians 5:7) Have you applied the blood of Christ by trusting Christ as your personal Savior? I preach a message entitled, “Did Jesus turn the water into fermented (alcoholic) wine or unfermented wine (grape juice)” in the Evening Service. I sure am enjoying the two new series in the Adult Sunday School Class and Wednesday Services. In the Adult Sunday School class a series entitled, “The Life and Labors of the Apostle Paul.” In the Wednesday Evening Services a series I am calling, “What’s in a Name?” The next name is “Servants.” Be sure not to miss any of these two series of messages!

Our 47 Annual Faith Promise Mission Conference is during the whole month of September. September this year has five Sundays so we get an extra two missionaries in our conference. The schedule is in the newsletter and on the Web-site. Plan now not to miss a single service and begin now to pray about your Faith Promise Offering this coming year.

Please pray for all those on our “Church Prayer List.” There are so many in our Church Family going through some serious health problems and they need our prayers very much. Neva and I love you!
