47th Annual Faith Promise Mission Conference
September Month

The Lord gave us a wonderful day in His House Sunday! I was on “cloud nine” when I went home Sunday Evening. The attendance was good and the offerings were pretty good. Faith Promise Missions didn’t make our goal, but good. I preached a message entitled, “How to Know that you Know” in the Morning Service. “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”(I John 5:13) I preached a message entitled, “God want you to have assurance of your salvation” in the Evening Service. (1) God cannot lie, (2) Jesus Paid it all, (3) The Holy Spirit, and (4) A changed life are four truths that give us assurance of our salvation. The best part of the day was the altar results! Aleigha McGuyer followed the Lord in Baptism. Kaylee Harper was saved in VBS and came forward to make a public profession of her salvation and wants to be baptized. T.C. Rhoades and Seth Watson both came forward to surrender their lives to full-time service. Praise the Lord!

I am finishing up with the series of lesson on “The Life and Labors of Paul the Apostle” in the Adult Sunday School Class.” I am about half way through a series of messages “What’s in a Name.” The next name is “Stewards” Be sure not to miss any of these two series of messages!

Our 47 Annual Faith Promise Mission Conference starts September 2, 2018 and goes throughout the whole month of September. By the way, if you are behind on your Faith Promise Mission offering, this Sunday is your last chance to get in the offering. Bro. Matt Marusak closes the mission year on the last Sunday of August. As of the last of July, we were 10% below the Faith Promise Goal for the year. The schedule is in the newsletter and on the Web-site. We will have the “Mission Booklet” on the first Sunday. Our theme this year is “Go! Anywhere, To Anyone, At Any Cost!” I believe God has given us some great Missionaries scheduled to be with us. Don’t miss a single service and begin now to pray about your Faith Promise Offering this coming year.

Be sure to get a “Church Prayer List” and pray for all those on it. Neva and I love you and hope to see you in all the services!
