47th Annual Faith Promise Mission Conference
September Month

Faith Promise Mission Month is my favorite time of the year at Fundamental Baptist Church. I have said it before, “It is like a revival!”Sunday we had Missionaries Dwight and Renee Bishop (Philippines)with us. They are on deputation raising support to reach the Muslims in the Philippines. Bro. Dwight taught our combine Sunday School a lesson on “How to Pray for Missionaries.”Great! I preached in the Morning Service a message entitled, “The Worth of One Soul.”Jesus said, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Mark 8:36, 37) Bro. Dwight preached a great message of the four lepers who found that the Syrian army had left their “camp as it was.”After they had eaten, they thought about their people starving said, “We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings...”The four lepers shared the good news. Missions is sharing the gospel (good news) to the whole world. The best part of the day was Kaylee Harper following the Lord in Baptism. If you missed Sunday, YOU missed a blessing!

Wednesday, September 19, 2018 we have Missionaries Jonathon and Elizabeth Shertzer (Belize). The Shertzers are on deputation raising their support. They are over 83% of their needed support. Sunday, September 23, 2018 we have Missionaries Dick and Linda Redding (Mexico). We supported the Reddings since 2008. They are continuing the work of our Missionaries Bill and Quessie Harvey at Baptist Bible Institute in Monte. They will give us a report of the work in Mexico.

Our theme this year is “Go! Anywhere, To Anyone, At Any Cost!” The theme verse is “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” (Matthew 28:19). Sunday, September 30, 2018 is FAITH PROMISE OFFERING SUNDAY. The promise offering will determine what we do in our Mission Program for the year. Ask God what He would have you to do for Missions and by faith give it.
