Evangelist Bill Abbott Family October 21, 2018 @ 6:30pm Well, we had a good attendance even though many of our folks are sick and some out of town. The offerings were good both in the General Fund and Faith Promise Missions. I preached a message entitled, “The Scars of Sin” in the Morning Service. “But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house.” (Judges 16:21) Samson’s life was scared by sin. The scars of sin will be you the rest of your life. I preached a message in the Evening Service on the subject, “The Fruit of the Spirit.”“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22, 23)
Evangelist Bill Abbott Family will be with us this Sunday, October 21, 2018 in our Evening Service. Bro. Bill and his family travel for the last 13 years in churches all across America conducting 35-37 revivals each year. He spends 9 weeks running Camp Hosanna located in Hiawassee, GA. The entire family is involved in the ministry either with music, children’s work or preaching. The Abbott’s will be with us on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 6:30pm. Don’t miss this special service!
Sunday, November 11, 2018 is Veterans Day. Let’s have a special service to recognize our Veterans. I would like for us to have our “Memorial Garden” this year. It’s been a while since we have had the crosses lined up in front of our church with your family member’s names on them. There will be a sign up in the foyer. These are names of your grandparents, parents, siblings and children who served our country and are deceased. We have enough crosses for about 60 names. We will be recognizing all veterans present and those who are now serving in the military.
Be sure to get a “Church Prayer List!” and PRAY! Neva and I love you!
Your Pastor, Bro. Gary
