We left on Monday afternoon and returned Friday afternoon. What a wonderful time of preaching and singing. There were 9 messages each day including two from myself and Bro. James Smith. I want to thank Bro. Lee Payne for filling the pulpit on Wednesday Evening. I listened to the message on our Web-site and he preached a great message from God’s Word. If you missed, listen to in on the Web-site.I preached a message entitled, “God is Impartial” in the Morning Service. “For there is no respect of persons with God.”(Romans 2:11) We had the Evangelist Bill Abbott Family with us in the Evening Service. If you missed this service, you missed a blessing. The Family sang several songs and Bro. Bill preached a message entitled, “The Procrastinator and the Instigator.” He brought out the truth that Saul was the “Procrastinator” and Jonathan was the “Instigator” (I Samuel 14) Jonathan smites the Philistines while Saul sat under the “pomegranate tree.”I want to be an “INSTIGATOR!” Again, listen to it by going to wwwfundamentalbaptistpalmer.org and click on “listen to recent sermons.”It is good, but it is much better in person!
Sunday, November 11, 2018 is Veterans Day. Let’s have a special service to recognize our Veterans. I would like for us to have our “Memorial Garden” this year. It’s been a while since we have had the crosses lined up in front of our church with your family member’s names on them. There is a sign up in the foyer. These are names of your grandparents, parents, siblings and children who served our country and are deceased. We have enough crosses for about 60 names. We will be recognizing all veterans present and those who are now serving in the military. Pray for a good day! THANK YOU VETERANS FOR YOUR SERVICE!
Be sure to get a “Church Prayer List!” and PRAY! Neva and I love you!
Your Pastor, Bro. Gary
