| | THANKSGIVING SUNDAY!
November 25, 2018 AM  Sunday was Veterans Day Service at Fundamental Baptist Church. What a blessing to be able to honor the Veterans of the past and present. We had sixteen Veterans present in our service Sunday Morning. We honored them by giving a “Certificate of Appreciation” and a small gift from the church. The “Memorial Garden” is out front of the church along the street. Each of the 60 crosses has the names of our folks loved ones who have served in the Military and have passed on. What a beautiful memory to honor all of them. I did something I have never done. I had Bro. James read each name and ask the family members to stand in their honor. Thank you Veterans! I preached a message entitled, “God Bless America” in the Morning Service. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” (Psalm 33:12) God will not and cannot bless a nation whose God is not the Lord! I preached a message in the Evening Service entitled, “God, Please Forgive America.”“If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (II Chronicles 7:14) America is filled with “wicked ways” and she needs to turn from them and “then” God “will forgive their sin.”The best part of the day was God sending M/M David and Bonnie Campbell to join Fundamental Baptist Church by Letter. We welcome them in to the FAMILY! PRAISE THE LORD!
Thanksgiving Service will be Sunday, November 25, 2018. Don’t forget we change the Wednesday, Nov. 21st to Tuesday, Nov. 20 Thanksgiving week.
I have started two series of messages on Wednesday Evenings, “Elijah, The Man of God” and in the Adult Sunday School Class, “The Holy Spirit Series.”Don’t miss the study of the life of Elijah and the study of the precious Holy Spirit!
