Christmas Musical "Hope Has Hands" December 23, 2018 AM The Lord sure blessed our services Sunday in a wonderful way. We had a pretty good attendance and the offerings in both the General Fund and Faith Promise Missions were great. Shawn Drewett sang for us in both the Adult Sunday Class and Morning Service. I preached a messages entitled, “A Name Above All Names” in the Morning Service. “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called, Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6) Our Adult Christmas Banquet was a great success! Bro. Shawn sang for us in our Adult Christmas Banquet several Christmas Carols and we had great food and fellowship. I heard many folks say, “Our Banquet was the best ever.”I agree! Thank you to everyone that helped prepare the food, decorations, set up, clean up, etc. Thank you for participating! You will never know how much that means to a Pastor when folks support a activity that is planned. By the way, the weather was great!
Christmas Sunday is December 23, 2018 Our Choir is presenting a Christmas Musical called, “Hope has hands” in the Morning Service. We have a special “Red Three Function Pen” for all the adults and teens. The boys and girls will receive a special gift. The Children’s Christmas Program will be December 16, 2018 at 6:30pm. Don’t miss either of these special services.
Don’t forget I have started two series of messages: Wednesday Evenings, “Elijah, The Man of God”and in the Adult Sunday School Class, “The Holy Spirit Series.”Don’t miss the study of the life of Elijah and the study of the precious Holy Spirit!
Be sure to get a “Church Prayer List!” and PRAY! Neva and I love you hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We are so thankful to be a part of Fundamental Baptist Church for 35 ½ wonderful years!
