"Hope Has Hands"

The Psalmist David said, “Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee.”(Psalm 84:4) Clearly this was a Song of Zion. This Psalm expresses the rejoicing of a pilgrim who has made his way to the Temple in Jerusalem. This is how I felt Sunday Evening when I got home. I was still praising the Lord for His blessings of the day in God’s House. I preached another message about the Names of Jesus. The Angel told Joseph, “...Joseph, thou man of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”Then the angel quotes from Isaiah the prophet, “Behold, a Virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” (Matt. 1:21, 23) The title of the message: “The True Meaning of Christmas.”Christmas is God giving us the gift of Salvation, the forgiveness of sins! “Immanuel!”We welcome into the family of Fundamental Baptist Church, Gabriel and Isabel Bustillos! This fine family came by Letter in the Evening Service. WELCOME! Also, Kiana Grant (11yrs) got saved in Jr. Church and wants to be baptized! Praise the Lord

Wednesday, December 19, 2018 @ 7:00pm Jeremy and Rachel Chupp with be singing for us. We had them a few years back when they first got married and started traveling in the music ministry. Rachel is the daughter of the David Warren Family. They now have three precious children and the four year old will sing a couple of songs with them. This will be a combined service with our teens and children. The children will be in the service for a little while and go back to their program. I will close the service with a brief message. Don’t miss this special service of Gospel singing.

Christmas Sunday is December 23, 2018 Our Choir is presenting a Christmas Musical called, “Hope has hands” in the Morning Service. We have a special “Red Three Function Pen” for all the adults and teens. The boys and girls will receive a special gift. The Children’s Christmas Program will be December 16, 2018 at 6:30pm. Don’t miss either of these special services.
