Evangelist Al Reichman did a great job all day Sunday. He had Questions and Answers in Sunday School. The time just went by so fast! Then he preached a message entitled, “YOM KIPPUR.”The message included “The Day of Atonement” and explained the delineating of God’s requirement for satisfying the sin-debt. What a great message! Dr. Al presented “Christ in the Passover” in the Evening Service. He gave us a demonstration of the Passover that points to Jesus Christ from his death, burial, resurrection and coming again. It was so interesting because Dr. Al could recount how his own Dad led the family year after year to observe the Passover in his home. It was good to have his wife, Michele with us in the AM Service. She did an outstanding job singing, “Had it not been.” I am thankful that we support his ministry through our Mission Program every month. The best part of the Lord’s Day was having the privilege of leading Audrey Kvapil to Christ before Sunday School. Vera Findley had been witnessing to her and had her ready to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior. She made her salvation public and presented herself for baptism. Praise the Lord! Again, what a wonderful day in the Lord’s House!
Our next big Sunday is “Mission Emphasis Sunday”on March 17, 2019. Missionaries Glen & Sheri McGee (Ecuador) will be in Sunday School and Morning Service. Missionaries Jason & Arlen Stevens (Honduras) will be in the Evening Service. I am praying this will be a “Mini Mission Conference”ora boast to help us finished strong in our Faith Promise Commitment we made back in September. Maybe this special Mission Emphasis will cause others who are not involved to start giving to Missions!
Be sure to get a “Church Prayer List!” and PRAY! Neva and I love you very much!
Your Pastor, Bro. Gary
