Great Day in the Lord's House!

Sunday was a great day in the Lord’s House. I preached a message entitled, “Like the wave of the sea driven” in the Morning Service. “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.” (James 1:6) James was comparing faith with doubt. If the Devil can get you to DOUBT God, His Word, your Salvation, he has you just where he wants you. Doubt will cause you to be like a wave tossed by the wind. “A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.” James 1:8)
We were privileged to have Missionaries Dan and Gail Powers (Cambodia) with us in the Evening Service. They have us a report of the work there in Cambodia. We have supported them for 11 years!. We are almost finished with our study of the Book of Hebrews on Wednesday Evenings. I will be finishing with Chapter 13:22-25 which is the last chapter of Hebrews. My, what a wonderful study we have had in this wonderful book in the Bible! Next, we will go verse by verse, chapter by chapter of The Epistle of Philippians.” I am excited to go through four wonderful chapters. The Epistle of JOY!
I have started a new series of lessons in the Adult Sunday School Class. The series is “Why we believe what we believe?” I am currently on the “Doctrine of the Holy Spirit” this Sunday! Join us in the Study of God’s Word! “WHY we believe WHAT we believe” Series.
